A Note from the Author

I have tried on many different identities in my life: athlete, teacher, wife, mother, and more recently, author. None have so wholly satisfied me as this: forgiven. child of God. It has been in knowing and resting in this identity where God has breathed His words of truth into the open ears of a surrendered heart. My words are but a distant echoing of the story He has already penned. If you find any solace in my words may it be because you have heard from the One true voice who often speaks to His people through His people. His is a voice that forever seeks to rescue the lost, comfort those who mourn, give strength to the weary, and embolden those who love Him. If, indeed, your soul perceives His gentle whisper, I pray you heed unto His calling. Worry not about how to find your way; instead, trust in the promise that He has already made the way—all He is asking you to do is walk in it.
